1992年毕业于西安建筑科技大学环境工程系供热、供燃气、通风及空调工程学科,获工学硕士学位;1999年毕业于西安交通大学能源与动力工程学院热能工程学科,获工学博士学位;并在中国科学院大气物理研究所从事过2年博士后研究。2003年入选上海市“曙光”计划。
已主持完成过4项国家自然科学基金面上项目、1项国家“973”项目专题、4项省(部)级科学基金和1项上海市科研创新重点项目的研究,曾获省级教学成果一等奖1项(2001,排名2),2019年获香港桑麻基金会“桑麻”奖。与人合作发表科研论文约200篇,其中SCI论文50余篇。作为主要修订人或起草人,完成过2部国家行业(团体)标准的起草或修订工作,与人合作出版第一本《建筑环境学》全国统编教材。
社会兼职:上海市学位委员会土木工程学科评议组成员(第四、第五届); 中国气象学会大气化学与大气成分分会委员; 中国物理学会静电与电磁防护分会委员(第六至第九届).
